Job Opening - Real Property Appraiser
Real Property Appraiser
Performs specialized work associated with appraising real property to determine appropriate values for assessment purposes.
Duties and responsibilities include inspecting and measuring real property, preparing documentation and maintaining records, conducting research, collecting data, providing information to taxpayers, and performing other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED; preferably supplemented by vocational training in mathematics or construction cost estimation.
Proficient computer skills required; proficient with Word and Excel preferred.
Experience and/or training involving property appraisal, property assessment, construction cost estimation, real estate, architecture, personal/business property valuation, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job preferred.
Salary is $25,000-30,000/year based on education and experience.
