Solid Waste Director

Doug was born in Cumberland County but has resided in Putnam County all of his adult life.  He has been serving the people of Putnam County not only in the Solid Waste Department but also the Putnam County Sheriff's Office Reserve Unit.  He served under Sheriff David Andrews for his term as sheriff and retired when Sheriff Andrews retired.  He has over 23 years with the Putnam County Solid Waste Department.  He has earned his Certified Public Administrator certification and is a member of SWANA and the Tennessee Solid Waste Directors Association.  He is a family man, married to Brandi since 2000 and they have a daughter Ashlee.  In his spare time, he enjoys camping and woodworking.  He is proud of the community he lives and works in and looks forward to continuing to serve the people of Putnam County.
