LONG TERM POWER OUTAGES EXPECTED

Long-term power outages expected with Winter Storm. Some residents may be without power until Wednesday February 17th.
Upper Cumberland Electric has notified the Emergency Operations Center that long-term power outages are expected with the current storm, with some customers potentially without power as late as Wednesday.
Some areas may have power that returns and goes out again due to additional falling trees and limbs, which may continue to occur throughout the overnight hours and Tuesday.
If you are currently experiencing a power outage, you are urged to make alternate plans to stay with family before road conditions deteriorate this evening.
To report a power outage, contact your electric service provider. Calling 911 or an emergency response agency will not restore your power any sooner, and in fact may delay life-saving care to those who need it.
