The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has decreased our severe risk category to Slight Risk (level 2/5). A Tornado Watch has been issued for our area until 7pm.
Latest models show storms arriving between 3 and 4pm and ending after 6 or 7pm. Damaging winds, heavy downpours (leading to flash flooding), and isolated tornadoes are possible.
Exact timing is still variable and could change again, but there still appears to be a significant potential for strong to severe storms.
