The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk (level 2/5) for severe thunderstorms for the afternoon and evening today Tuesday July 30th.
With a continuation of the Marginal Risk (level 1/5) into tomorrow Wednesday July 31st.
The primary threats are isolated severe thunderstorms, wind gusts (greater than 60mph), heavy rainfall with instances of flash flooding, and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning possible.
