The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has upgraded the risk level to a Slight Risk (level 2/5) for severe thunderstorms for this afternoon and evening (Tuesday September 24th).
The primary threats are scattered severe thunderstorms, wind gusts (greater than 60mph), heavy rainfall with instances of flash flooding, and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning possible.
