The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Putnam County, TN Friday February 14th until Sunday February 15th at Noon.
There is also a Slight Risk (level 2/5) for severe thunderstorms to develop on Saturday afternoon and evening. This risk is dependant on the track of a low pressure system which could eliminate storm potential, but if storms are permitted to develop all modes of severe weather are possible (damaging winds, flooding, hail, and tornadoes).
Remain Weather Aware throughout the weekend:
- - Remain weather aware throughout the weekend - knowing there is a risk is your best defense
