The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued an Enhanced Risk (level 3/5) for Central and Western Putnam County, and a Slight Risk (level 2/5) for Eastern Putnam County for severe thunderstorms overnight Sunday March 30th into Monday morning March 31st.
Severe thunderstorms are possible overnight from 10pm Sunday until 7am Monday morning for Putnam County.
● Widespread rain, maybe a few rumbles of thunder today. Severe weather is not anticipated with today’s activity
● Severe thunderstorms Sunday Night - Monday Morning
○ All of Middle TN has a threat for severe weather with all hazards possible
○ Timing: Most likely 10 PM Sunday to 7 AM Monday
● Increasing potential for severe weather on Wednesday, as well as flooding late week.
