The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk (level 2/5) for severe thunderstorms today Tuesday April 29th.
Thunderstorm chances increase in our area this afternoon into the evening. Some storms could be strong to severe posing threats for damaging wind gusts and large hail. The threat for tornadoes and flooding rains remains very low.
