SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE TOMORROW JUNE 26

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for severe thunderstorms tomorrow Thursday June 26th and Friday June 27th.
 
 
 
 
The primary threats are isolated severe thunderstorms, wind gusts, heavy rainfall, and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning possible.
 
Prolonged heat continues in our area. The heat will peak through Thursday with major risk across the area, with a heat advisory through Friday evening.
 
Please use this time to make preparations:
 
     - Have multiple systems to receive warnings.
 
     - Have a storm readiness plan for your home.
 
     - Ensure your NOAA Weather Radio is operational.
 
     - Stay #WeatherAware and tuned into our social media and local media for updates.
