The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for severe thunderstorms tomorrow Wednesday May 6th.
A front will be moving through Middle TN on Wednesday and will bring periods of rain and thunderstorms. There is a low chance for thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon with increasing thunderstorms chances in the evening mainly south of I-40. Gusty winds will be the primary threat with thunderstorms but large hail is possible and a tornado can’t be ruled out.
